Content policy

Ad Flaunt AdSpaces are real screens inside real businesses, seen by anyone who walks in. Advertisers upload their own artwork, so these rules decide what is allowed to play. Ad Flaunt never creates artwork.

Last updated August 28, 2026

Never allowed

Artwork in these categories is removed and the booking is cancelled. Repeat submissions end the account.

Allowed with conditions

Allowed only when every listed condition is met, including the law of the venue's location and any required disclosure in the artwork itself.

Ad Host decides

Legal, but sensitive in a physical venue. The Ad Host may decline it for their screen without giving a reason.

Classification

Never allowed

Anything that promotes, sells or instructs on activity that is illegal where the screen is located.

  • Illegal drugs, precursors or drug paraphernalia
  • Stolen goods, counterfeit products or fake documents
  • Hacking services, account or credential sales

  • Nudity, sexual acts or sexually suggestive imagery
  • Escort services, adult subscription platforms, sex work
  • Adult toys, pornography or adult entertainment venues

Content involving minors

Never allowed

Any sexualisation or exploitation of a minor is reported and results in permanent removal from Ad Flaunt.

  • Stock media used outside its licence, or licensed music in a video

  • Fake system errors, fake alarms or emergency alerts
  • Content designed to look like the venue's own signage or menu
  • Audio-dependent artwork that fails silently on muted screens

  • Candidate, ballot-measure and party advertising with a paid-for disclosure
  • No claims about voting procedure, eligibility or results

Personal data and privacy

Allowed with conditions

Artwork must not expose personal data or collect it deceptively from passers-by.

  • No third-party personal details, faces without a release, or private contact information
  • QR codes must lead to a page that discloses what is collected

Sensitive but legal categories

Ad Host decides

Ad Hosts run these screens inside their own businesses and may decline artwork that does not suit their customers.

  • Competing businesses in the same category as the venue
  • Religious or activist messaging
  • Cosmetic surgery, weight loss, dating and fertility services
  • Strong language or provocative imagery

Advertiser rules

  • You own or are licensed to use every element of the artwork you upload.
  • Artwork must match the AdSpace specs: accepted file type, exact orientation and size limit.
  • Artwork plays for a fixed 15-second slot with up to 4 advertisers per screen per day.
  • Ad Flaunt never creates artwork for you and never edits what you upload.
  • Your Ad Host reviews the artwork before it can play, and may decline it.
  • Claims in the artwork must be truthful and substantiated on request.

Ad Host rules

  • You control your price per day and your minimum and maximum booking days.
  • You must own or have written permission to advertise on the screen you list.
  • Listing details must be accurate: address, business type, screen specs and photos.
  • You review every advertiser's artwork and may decline anything you do not want on your screen.
  • Once a listing is approved, key details are locked; contact Ad Flaunt to change them.
  • You must keep the approved AdSpace display URL running during booked days.

How we enforce it

  1. 1

    Review before playback

Every AdSpace is approved by Ad Flaunt before it goes live, and every piece of artwork is reviewed by the Ad Host before it plays.

  2. 2

    Report

Ad Hosts, advertisers and the public can report artwork or a listing. Ad Flaunt reviews reports and can remove content at any time.

  3. 3

    Action

Prohibited artwork is removed and the booking is cancelled. Restricted-category violations are paused until the conditions are met.

  4. 4

    Repeat violations

Repeated or severe violations end the account. Illegal content is reported to the appropriate authorities.

Report artwork or a listing at support@adflaunt.com. Include the AdSpace name and the date you saw the ad.
